A Loner Roams

Woodrow trudged unwillingly to a twoleg trash barrel. As he approached, the young cat wrinkled his nose in disgust at the horrid scent coming from the can. As the young tom leaped atop the silver barrel, the can toppled under his weight on top of it. The tom's white paws dug through the garbage and he pulled out a bright container with his claws.

Woodrow sniffed at the container, but it didn't seem to be open at all. With a growl of frustration, the male backed away from the trash. He would go to the twoleg nests. A twoleg would give him food, and he would have to take it. With a small sigh, the young cat stalked away to the twoleg nests.
